Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)

A Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) is ideal for anyone who needs structure without medical supervision. It allows clients to learn sober living skills with their peers while learning to live successfully without the crutch of drugs and alcohol.

PHP is the logical next step for those who have successfully completed a detox or residential program.

Our Partial Hospitalization Program generally includes multiple days of therapy a week with scheduled breaks. A minimum of 20 hours a week of treatment is typical. Sunshine Care Centers will provide a treatment plan that caters to a patient’s specific needs.

Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

IOP is a flexible program for those transitioning from a more intensive level of treatment.

Our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) supports intensive work for a patient who may have already completed a detox program. Much like PHP, this program involves multiple hours of treatment per week. A minimum amount of hours will be required but will be catered specifically to each client based on their needs and circumstances.

IOP programs support clients in learning how to re-integrate into the world as newly sober individuals. The program focuses on the root causes and consequences of addiction on multiple levels: emotional, mental, social, physical, and spiritual. IOP teaches individuals how to get through challenging times while remaining sober.

Outpatient Program (OP)

Our Outpatient Program gives participants flexibility, freedom, and the opportunity to take care of daily responsibilities while in treatment.

We designed our Outpatient Program (OP) to help keep our IOP patients on track when they are ready for the next step in their recovery journey. We assess our patient’s goals and ensure their continued education and accountability.

Sunshine Care Center’s Outpatient program provides weekly individual and group therapy sessions. Our Outpatient Program provides a safe environment for patients to work through life’s challenges in a healthy and productive way.

Sober Living & Transitional Housing

Sunshine Care Centers is here to assist our patients through every stage of their journey to recovery. One of the most critical aspects of that journey is to give our clients safe and supportive living conditions. That may include Sober Living or Transitional Housing.

Sober Living is a program that gives patients structure and accountability when learning how to function outside an in-patient recovery facility. There is support staff on hand to monitor and assist with any client's need during this exciting phase.
